The farm sits on top of a hill over looking Mousehole to the East and Penzance to the South. Amazing views but very exposed and prone to a battering from the brutal south-westerlies. In the winter of 2019 storms blew down half of our large barn - currently being repaired. It was the incentive we needed to get the trees planted asap!

In 2020-2021 we planted over 2500 trees and hedging shrubs, creating windbreaks, shelterbelts and joining up existing hedges. We quadrupled the size of the wooded areas by the Tumble Tyn - a key part of our wildlife conservation project - with more planting planned for 2021-2022.
